VEGETARIAN ROLLED  FONDANT  🍭🍭 

ALHUMDULILAH at last I made such tasty  fondant that my kids loved it , This fondant has nice elasticity , 

sharing with my sisters so all can make for their families too

INGREDIENTS

1/2 teaspoon China grass powder

2 & 1/2 tablespoon  MILK or water (   have  used milk )( for vegan  use water)

 2 Tbsp glucose powder ( Glucose D )

1  tablespoon  ghee or vegetable shortening 

1   teaspoon glycerin 

1 tsp gum acacia / gond powder (un cooked) (used in panjeeri )( break gum into small pieces then grind it make fine powder)

3 to 4 cups icing sugar ( may be all not used , depends on weather may be you need more )

flavor n color as desired. 

METHOD:

1. Combine 1 cup of icing sugar &  gum trag powder ( gond powder ) mix well and keep a side.

2.Now  Combine China grass powder & water or milk mix well so all China grass dissolves  now place  on the top of double boiler(boiling water ) & heat until dissolved. Add 2 tablespoons from glucose powder  & glycerin mix well, add shortening/ghee mix n melt & remove from boiling water. use immediately ( if it jells before using don’t worry again warm it as you did before then use )

3. Now  make a well in center of icing sugar n pour hot China grass  mixture in it , mix with beater first on low then increase speed and beat for 5 minutes then stop leave beater ( if don’t have  electric beater you can use hand beater or whisk too ), THIS STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT 

now add more icing sugar little at a time till dough forms knead well  , fondant is ready.

4. Now  put  fondant  in plastic bag in air tight container , leave over night in kitchen, the next day add color n flavor, and  use fondant on third day so its becomes just as  store bought. 

Elasticity comes after 24 hours

of resting .

📝: Can keep in kitchen in plastic bag in airtight box for a week before using.

📝Can keep that box in fridge too.

📝Can freeze this Fondant too in same box , just bring to room temperature as gets soft reknead it make it refresh and use.

📝 can use all types of colors , liquid, powder , gel.

tip : I have  liquid colors so I  mixed glucose powder in liquid color to make it thick then used in my fondant.( my fondant got sticky so used more icing sugar in my colored fondant till it became dough again )

📝: If fondant is sticky add more icing sugar a little at a time,   if hard knead with wet hands  or add few drops of water.

📝 roll  and cover cakes with fondant.

📝  make embellishments for cakes  ( make 2 weeks in advance so all  dries  well then use )

📝 : can save sugar embellishments for several years in airtight box.

📝: For adding colors take small amount of fondant mix color in it then mix this colored piece in other fondant mix well n use.

📝While working with fondant don’t sit under fan as air dries fondant fast and it ruins what u r making .

📝While working with fondant take out small amount of it and keep the rest in plastic bag in box.

📝Don’t add corn flour in your fondant if its sticky as cornflour fades the colors .

📝Keep cooking oil or shortening or ghee beside you while working with fondant , just grease your fingers n palms then work so this gives you fine finishing in work.

AJZA

  1/2 teaspoon China grass powder (peesa hua)

2 & 1/2 tablespoon dudh ya pani ( Maine dudh istemal kiya h) 

2 tablespoon glucose powder(GlucoseD)

 1 tablespoon ghee ya vegetable  shortening 

1 teaspoon glycerin 

 1 teaspoon kikar ka gond ( kikar darkhat is ka gond) ( gond  powder Jo hum panjeeeri banate hue istemal karte h) ( gond ko phlay tor kay chottay chottay tukray krain phr grind karain peec lain bareek powder BNA lain or bottle may bhar lain , kacha he istemal ho ga)  3 to 4 cups icing sugar ( ho sakta h ki sari icing sugar istemal na ho , ya ho skta hay mazeed or icing sugar ke be ZARORAT paray ap ko…aap kis tarah ke mosam me rahte ho ye uske uper depend karega nammi walay( humidity) jaga may icing sugar zeyada lagay ge) 

 Flavour aur khanay kay rang Jo apko o pasand ho

TARKEEB :

1-  Phlay 1 cup icing sugar aur gond powder ko acche se Mila le …aur ek taraf rakh de 

2- Ab China grass powder ko pani ya dudh me dal kar acche se Mila le .. ab ise double boiler ( ubalta pani) ke uper rakhe  or pakain  tab tak  jab tak ki China grass pani me ghul na jay.

3-.  Ab 2 tablespoons glucose powder aur glycerin ko isme milain ..acche se mix kare…phir shortening ya ghee ko milai .. jub sub peghal jay (melt) achi tarah …bus ab  ubalte pani se utar lain or forun (turant) hi istemal kare …( agar ye use karne se pehle jum jai to pareshan na ho..ise dobara garam kar le …jaise apne pehle kiya tha) 

4-  ab icing sugar ke beech me jaga  banai aur garam China grass wala mixture isme dalain …ise beater se pehle kam speed per beat kare …fir speed barhakar 5 minutes tak beat kare ..( agar electric beater nhi h to hand beater ya whisk  use kare ..( ye step behad lazmi hay)

5- Ab  aur icing sugar thori thori karke isme tab tak milain  jub tak dough na ban jay…acche se gound lain ..fondant taiyar hay ..

7- Fondant ko plastic bag me rakhkar air tight ( hawa band) box me rakhe ..puri raat bawachikhana(kitchen) me hi rehne de …agle din isme flavour aur rang Mila de ..aur teesre din ise istemal kare …jisse ki bilkul bazaar wala ban jai ..( fondant lachak (elasticity) 24 ghante baad aati hay.

📝Bus 2 hafta( week) pehle hi ye sab bana kar rakh le . ta Kay  acche se sukh jay .

📝 aap ye cakes ko sajane ka samaan Jo fondant say bnaya hay is ko air tight box me salo tak rakh sakte hain.

📝Is Fondant ko bawarchikhana ( kitchen ) may plastic shopping bag may dal k airtight box may rakhain 1 haftay (week)tk rakh sktay hain etimal say phlay .

📝Fridge may be rakh sktay hain ye box .

📝 Agar ZARORAT nahi to is Fondant ko freeze b kr sktay hain , bus jub chaeay ho kuch ghantay phlay nikalain or jub naram ho jay to gound  lain ta k taza( fresh) ho jay ,phir estimal karain.

📝 Rang is may gel , powder har aik istimal ho skta hay , 

tip  : maray pass liquid colors hain to may nay  liquid color may thora sa glucose powder milaya or gara  ( thick) kr leya color ko or fondant may dala jitna cheay  tha ( maira  fondant ptla chipchipa ho gea to may pareshan nahi hoe blkay  icing sugar dala jb tk fondant dobara say dough k tarah na no gea .

📝Fondant may rang milatay wakt  thora say fondant may rung milain phr is ko baki k fondant may milain or achi tarah mix karain.

📝Phankay ( fan ) k nechay fondant say kuch b na bnain hawa say jldi sokta  hay Jo b BNA rahi hon or ap ka kam kharab ho jata hay.

📝Kam krtay wkt thora thora kr k fondant nikala karain baki ko dobara plastic bag may box may bund .

📝Fondant say kam krtay wkt cooking oil ya ghee pass rakhain or apnay hath chiknay kr k kam karain to kam may safai ati hay.
